Estrella Castillo (CC ’19) is in the History of Science and Medicine PhD program at Yale.

Kevin Chen (CC ’17) is in his second year at Yale Law School.

Benjamin Fogarty Valenzuela (CC ’11) completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Anthropology at Princeton. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellows in urban science and practice at the University of Chicago’s Mansueto Institute for Urban Innovation. His co-authored book, The Art of Captivity was published by University of Toronto Press https://utorontopress.com/9781487524807/art-of-captivity-arte-del-cautiverio/ in 2020.

Rozanne Gooding-Silverwood  (GS ’17, Salutatorian) completed her MA in the Oral History Program at Columbia University in 2019.

Naye Idriss (CC ’20) is starting the MA program at the Kevorkian Center for Near East Studies at NYU. She was awarded the 2021 Student Paper Prize from the Middle East Section of the American Anthropological Association for her paper “Pedagogies of Becoming – An Ethnography of Readings and Resistance,” drawn from her senior thesis.

Carmen Irvin (GS ’17) is in the PhD program in Anthropology at Stanford.

Amanda Lee (CC ’20) is starting the MA Program in Social Sciences at the University of Chicago.

Zoe Shoshona Levine (CC ’17) is at Northwestern Law School.

Jing Hao Liong (CC ’16) just started the PhD program in Anthropology at Duke University.

Alex McNab (CC ’19) just started an MA Program in Film and Television Production at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.

Alyssa Mendez ( CC ’21) just started the PhD program in Anthropology at the University of Chicago after being an Erasmus Fellow.

Theodore Michaels (CC ’21) is starting the MSc program in Medical Anthropology at University College London.

Matthew Padgett (CC ’20) received a Clarendon Scholarship for an MA in Archaeology at the University of Oxford.

Lakota Pochedly (CC ’13) Master of Arts degree in Curriculum & Instruction at the University of Texas in Austin (2016). She is currently the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer, Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish (Gun Lake) Band of Pottawatomi Indians.

Allegra van der Horst Ponti (CC ’20) is starting an MA in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action at Sciences Po in Paris.

Jane Poss (CC ’20) is completing her MSc. Visual, Material and Museum Anthropology at the University of Oxford with support from a Kellett Fellowship from Columbia/Oxford.

Grace Puckett (GS ’19) finished her MA in Arts Administration at Heinz College, Carnegie Mellon and is now working at Parsons Dance.

Malaya Sadler (CC ’18) finished an MA in Anthropology at the Universität Heidelberg.

Aaron Su (CC ’19) and Ayluonne Txai Tereszkiewicz (CC ’17) are both in the PhD program in Anthropology at Princeton.

Christopher Thompson (GS ’21, Valedictorian) is beginning the Anthropology MA program at the New School.

Elizabeth Walsh (GS ’14, Anthropology Prize Winner) is completing her PhD in social Anthropology at Cambridge. 

Ramis Woodard (CC ’16) graduated from Yale Law School and is now an attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan via the Skadden Fellowship.
