Politzer Travel Award for American Association of Biological Anthropologists. https://bioanth.org/about/william-s-pollitzer-student-travel-award/ and was appointed to the board for Black In Bioanth Association. Alex was also appointed to the board for the Flatbush African Burial Ground Coalition.
Joel van de Sande received a History and Political Economy Project Grant, and receiced a Public Humanities Fellowship.
