It is our pleasure to invite everyone to the annual Anthropology Senior Thesis symposium, this year on Friday, April 24, from 10-1 in 754 Schermerhorn Extension.
Five of the department's majors have spent the year researching and writing ethnographically rich and theoretically creative theses on themes we have gathered loosely under the rubric of ecologies and labors.
They have invited as their keynote speaker for the symposium Professor Sarah E. Vaughn from the University of California at Berkeley, author of Engineering Vulnerability: In Pursuit of Climate Adaptation (Duke University Press).
So come hear Siri Storstein-Norgaard, Mariam Osman, Colin Guan, Emily Yi and William Park and our graduate student discussants Paulina Gomez and Marini Thorne.
If you or guests are not CUID holders, please contact Jeanne N. Roche <[email protected]> to get a QR code in advance to access campus.
