W. Isaac Falcón Revelo is an Ecuadorian archaeologist interested in the historical, social, and political relevance of archaeological discourses in the present. His research seeks to evaluate the archaeological history, theories, and methods from a decolonial perspective, especially regarding the relationship between archeology and indigenous communities. He is currently working alongside Comunidad Ancestral de Valdivia (Valdivia's ancestral community), coastal Ecuador, developing the local communitarian museum.
