Contact Info

Milan Taylor is a Ph.D. student in the department of Anthropology on the Archaeology track. She is a funerary archaeologist with additional interests in queer, kinship, and performance studies. Her project focuses on funeral practices in LGBTQ community, specifically after mass casualty events. Milan received her B.A. in Anthropology and Archaeology from Cornell University in 2024 where she completed a honors thesis as a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow. She is also active in community archaeology projects, including Cornell University's St. James AME Zion Church excavations in Ithaca, NY and the Bacontown Historical Project in Bacontown, MD.
