Biography
Intrigued by the Chinese cultural identities presented through comparative perspectives found in U.S. and Chinese museum narratives, Tianyi (Frida) Jiang is interested in understanding the symbolism and significance of museums in re-narrating global history as an institutional medium. As an artist herself, she also hopes to contribute to popularizing Contemporary Chinese art and promoting exhibitions in independent art museums to enrich the voices and beliefs represented in museums in China.
