Rudy Banny

Research Interests


Rudy Banny is a Master's student in Columbia's Museum Anthropology program. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with degrees in Archaeology and Chemistry, putting both to use during his most recent work at the Shumla Archaeological Research and Education Center's Radiocarbon Lab. He has a broad range of interests, including the modernization of museums and understanding how the underlying interactions within and between the academic and public spheres inform the presentation of anthropological knowledge.
