Biography

Justin Ramos has worked in museums since he was in high school, in both education and exhibitions departments. His main research interests include museum education, Latino museum cultures, traditional craft practices, and folk art. After completing two years at East Los Angeles College, Justin graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in art history. His undergraduate thesis research concerned modern Sufi saints and their influence in the West. Aiding his intense interest in craft and material theory, Justin also practices wood and metal working in his spare time.
